Canberra edged closer to its first home series win of the season following a 4-3 victory over Geelong-Korea in a rain-shorted Brut Australian Baseball League contest on Friday night.
A huge downpour of rain halted play midway through the fifth inning, ahead of officials calling the game off at The Fort at MIT Ballpark.
With four-and-a-half innings completed, the result stood.

The Cavs (11-11) are hitting form towards the right time of year, bringing their record to .500 for the first time this season.
Canberra were bullish right from the get-go, rushing to a 4-0 lead by the end of the second inning.
Michael Fransoso's second inning triple allowed Cavalry outfielder Kouki Aoyagi to score for the home side, before Craig Massey's two-run double extended the lead to 4-0.
However, GK threatened in the fifth inning with a gallant comeback to reduce Canberra's lead to one run.
Joo-Ho Lee's double to left field allowed Han-Gyeol Joh and Seung-Hun Kim to cross home plate for the visitors.
Geelong-Korea then reduced the lead to one when Seung-Won Shin smacked a fly ball deep into left field and Joo-Ho Lee registered a run.
Although, it was a case of too little too late for GK, as they were not able to continue their momentum after the break.
Earlier, the Cavs opened the scoring on the night in their first inning, when a professionally executed sacrifice fly by Craig Massey allowed Fransoso to cross home plate.
Game three of the series between Canberra and Geelong-Korea will commence at 7pm on Saturday.
